Chamber Social: The Eudora Chamber of Commerce will host a social at Zeb’s Coffeehouse at 8 a.m. Thursday. Social distancing will be practiced in addition to other safety precautions.
Larry McPherson’s 80th Birthday: Larry McPherson, also known as Mr. Mac, Big Mac, and Mr. Driver’s Ed turns 80 at the end of August. Community members are asked to help McPherson celebrate by dropping off a card or note for him.
Lions Card Shower: The Eudora Lions will host a card shower for Earl “Bob” Slapar Oct. 1 to celebrate his 65th anniversary as a Lion. The Lions ask community members to send cards to show their appreciation for Bob’s dedication to Eudora. Cards can be sent to the Eudora Lions, PO Box 77, Eudora, Kansas 66025.

We will publish event notices once for free before requiring the purchase of an ad.
We also will accept birth announcements, engagement/marriage/anniversary announcements, high school and college graduation announcements, and pet news. Pet news could include announcement of a new pet, a story about a pet or an obituary for a pet. The cost of these various announcements will be $20 each, which includes a photo submission. The fee is to support personnel who must prepare this information for publication.
