Walking Tacos: The EHS boys’ basketball team will host a walking taco fundraiser Friday in the EHS commons. The fundraiser will begin at 5 p.m. and walking tacos can be purchased for $4. Proceeds will go to the EHS Hoops Club to support the boys’ basketball program.
Spring play: Eudora High School will present its spring play at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 22. The 2020 spring play is “Spy School” by Don Zolidas. Tickets are $5 and doors open at 6:30.
Piano Festival: EHS junior Ben Thorne will compete in the Kansas State Piano Festival at Wichita State University on Feb. 22. Thorne received a superior rating at the regional competition last week.
The Good Neighbor section will publish every Wednesday when there is content.
We will publish event notices once for free before requiring the purchase of an ad.
We also will accept birth announcements, engagement/marriage/anniversary announcements, high school and college graduation announcements, and pet news. Pet news could include announcement of a new pet, a story about a pet or an obituary for a pet. The cost of these various announcements will be $20 each, which includes a photo submission. The fee is to support personnel who must prepare this information for publication.
