Music in Our Schools: The Eudora music program will host the Music in Our Schools choir and band concerts Monday and Tuesday. Eudora elementary, middle and high school choirs as well as the Eudora community choir will perform at 6:30 p.m. Monday. March Madness Leprechaun Dash: Eudora Parks and Recreation will hold its eighth annual March Madness Leprechaun Dash 5K on Saturday, March 14. The run will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Eudora Community Center. Those who register before the early bird deadline on Friday will be charged $15, and registration after is $20. Participants can register at the community center or online at http://www.eudoraparksandrec.org/Leagues.aspx.
Daring Dragons Ride: The Daring Dragons Girl Troop will host a motorcycle ride on March 22. The ride is a fundraiser to raise money for camping gear and fees for summer camps and others throughout the year, among other fees. The ride is $10 per person. Entry starts at 10 a.m. at the Eudora Community Center and the ride will start at noon.
Weather 101: The National Weather Service out of Topeka will present Weather 101 at 7 p.m. March 26 in the Eudora Public Safety Building. The program includes information about severe storms and how they develop and are identified, as well as safety tips. All-hazard radios will also be available for purchase. The program is free for anyone to attend.

We will publish event notices once for free before requiring the purchase of an ad.
We also will accept birth announcements, engagement/marriage/anniversary announcements, high school and college graduation announcements, and pet news. Pet news could include announcement of a new pet, a story about a pet or an obituary for a pet. The cost of these various announcements will be $20 each, which includes a photo submission. The fee is to support personnel who must prepare this information for publication.
